| NCCU Junior Championships 2008 Fifty seven juniors from Cumbria, Cheshire & North Wales, Lancashire, Merseyside and Yorkshire
entered the NCCU junior championships at the Heywood Chess club on Saturday 30th August. Excellent behaviour and very high quality chess were the order of the day.
Winners were decided only in the last few minutes. The venue proved excellent and has already been booked for the equivalent Saturday next August.
